Nixon campaign to visit Northeast again

Attorney General Jay Nixon, in the throws of his gubernatorial campaign, will be stopping by Northeast to call on lawmakers to pass new regulations on the payday loan industry.

Nixon, along with other local politicians and community leaders, will be outlining his plans for how to deal with payday loan businesses.

Nixon will be speaking at 3 p.m. on Friday at the Oakley United Methodist Church, 4600 Independence Ave.
